  1. How can I lock out certain features from being changed in the GUI

I would like to know if there is a Registry edit that I could add to lock out specific features from being changed within the Windows 10 GUI. This first image I've included is for visual representation only.

I want to lock out the slider found under Setting>Colours> Transparency effects

. I only want to lock out this one slider.

The reason I want to lock this feature within the GUI is so the no user (not even the Admin) can accidently turn it on using the GUI. The reason for this is that the Graphics card in a PC I set up doesn't properly support the transparency effects feature. When transparency effects are enabled the display is nearly impossible to use. Turning the off transparency effects becomes very difficult via the GUI. The drivers for this GPU (Nvidia GeForce 7100 nForce 630i) are as up to date as possible (ver. 309.08).

I created two .reg files to turn on or off the slider, but they don't disable it.

    TIA for any suggestions.

    :)

I can't use certain features on Forza Horizon 3 due to parental control.

    Hi,

If you're using a child account, there are certain limitations imposed on your Xbox account. This could be the reasons as to why you can't access certain features on the game. To resolve this issue, you need to manage the privacy and online safety settings
of your child account by using the parent account associated to it. To give you an idea, only the parent account is eligible to manage the privacy and online safety settings of the child account. To get started, kindly perform the following steps:

    • Sign in the parent account on this link.
    • Select the Child account.
    • Make the changes that you need on the privacy and online safety settings.

Let us know with the result after performing the suggested solution above.

    Lock Screen keeps changing

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

    1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
    2. Click on Personalization.
    3. Click on Lock screen.
    4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
      Picture.
    5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

    Hope it helps.

Please reply with the status of the issue, we will be glad to help you further.
