Windows 10: How can I log into my One Drive when it requires a four digit pass code I don't have?

Cannot log in to my One Drive account. I do not have Windows hello set up and it keeps asking for a four digit passcode which I have not set up. I'm in a endless loop not able to log into the One Drive Help.

7 digits code required to resetting MS account password but the MS keep on texting me a 6 digit code

Try to setup the new Dell laptop with Windows 11 recently, during the startup, one of the setup process is to use my MS account to synchronize all the devices under this account. it requires both my email address and password to authenticate. Since I forgot my email (hotmail) password, click forgot password link, I chose the MS to text me the authentication code. it kept on sending me a 6 digit code, but the Windows 11 setup process asking me to put in a 7 digit code and fail to authenticate the password resetting process. There is no other way to out of this step, so I am left with a no working computer if I can not pass this step. Tried several times and it maxed out. tell me to request again the next day. I am not optimistic the next day will send me a 7 digit code as requested, searched this topic but could not find any solutions, Anyone knows how to fix this?

 

My two-step verification codes are not the correct digit codes

I have tried to log in to several of my Microsoft accounts, but all of the accounts have requested an email two-step verification to be completed either through my email or my phone number. However, when I requested the code, 6 digit codes were sent towards me both through my phone and my email. All attempts provided these 6-digit codes that could not be used in my account two-step verification. The code that were required were 4-digit codes, which were never sent in any other form. I have checked my spam category in all of my emails, but non had a single-use 4-digit code that was sent by Microsoft

I keep on getting 6 digit verification codes when a 7 digit is required!!!

I'm trying to set up a new PC and cannot log into my Microsoft account without a valid verification code. Password is correct. Old phone number is not accessible. I can't change any settings (i.e. 2 step verification, security settings, etc) without a seven-digit code. I keep receiving a 6-digit code every time!. How do I fix this?
