Windows 10: HOW CAN I MAKE A PRIVATE CHARACTER BIGGER?

I have made a private character which didn't come out right here. It is a 'checked checkbox'.I use it on word documents designed for paper printing when using them digitally.Trouble is the thing isn't big enough and the character editor doesn't allow of making it any bigger.Is there any way I can do that?

Private Character Editor - Add characters beyond U+FFFF

private characters

I am using windows 10 on a new laptop and for ages have been trying to generate and use private characters in my programs.

I have used private character editor and character map but nothing seems to work. Can you help me?
