Windows 10: How can i make another button simulate left click

so i hurt my index finger so i want to make a button on the side of my mouse be the left click button so i can use my thumb instead of index. is there a way to do this?

Mixed reality simulation On/Off button issue

• Open Settings.
• Select Update and security.
• Click For developers.
• Choose Developer mode.
• Select Yes.
• Right-click the Start button.
• Type Mixed Reality Portal and hit Enter on your keyboard.
• Select Get started and click I agree.
• Click Set up simulation (for developers).
• Select Set up.
• Click the Tools button near the bottom-left corner of the window.
• Choose the switch below Simulation so that it turns On.

I have followed all these steps upto 11th steps . BUT I COULD NOT ABLE TO SEE ON / OFF SWITCH IN MIXED REALITY PORTAL

Left Click does nothing on start button

I was having the same problem. Of the five steps you list I tried the third. By going to Full Screen ON and then back to OFF, The menu came up fine when I left clicked. Thanks!
