Windows 10: How can I make my Windows password the same as my Microsoft password?

In my password manager, I have an entry for Windows, and an entry for Microsoft it's been years, I don't remember why.I would like the password for my Windows desktop PC to be the same as my Microsoft password. When I go to Accounts > Your info in Windows it says I have a Microsoft account, not a local account. So I would expect my Microsoft password to work. But when I try it, I get this message: "Your device is offline. Please sign in with the last password used on this device."Then I try my Windows password, it works. How can I make it so I can use the Microsoft password instead of the

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
