Windows 10: How can I make win 10 App windows look like those in Win 7?

    I hate the appearance of app windows in win 10. How can I change them to look like those of Windows 7?

    Win 10 desktop looks like Win 7, sort of

    I upgraded my Win 8.1 computer to Win 10. All is well but desktop looks like Win 7. How to see all those colorful squarish desktop icons that was the default of Win 8?

    uninstall Cortana in windows 10

    I wish I could remember how I turned off Irritating Cortana.

    I'm pretty sure Win 10 is going to be my last Windows. I don't like MS shoving stuff like Cortana, Edge and several other little apps on my laptop and making it very hard to delete those. Can't get rid of the XBox stuff either and there's no chance whatsoever
    I'm going to use that.

    Thankfully, with some add-ons I found, my laptop looks quite a bit like Win 7, except for the dull, boring look of Win 10. This Metro UI mess is definitely not for me.

    In addition, now MS is trying to shove that confounded Ribbon down users' collective throats by making it the only choice in simple apps like File Explorer. Thank heavens for RibbonDisabler. I stopped using MS Office because of the @#$%^& Ribbon. Looks like
    it's time to discontinue using MS altogether.

    That seems to do wonders for the start menu but I cannot see that it helps App windows, Am I missing something?
