Windows 10: How can I manage applications in Software Center?

Sorry for a bad title but I really don't know where to start with this. I need to find information about Software Center and specifically the "Status"-column. Lets say we're deploying 7-Zip and a client installs it via Software Center and the "Status" is "Installed". How can I remotely grab the value of the "Status"-column from said client? Like " Get-SoftwareCenterStatus -ApplicationName '7zip' -ComputerName 'client01' "
The above "powershell"-command is obviously not correct, it is however my way of trying to explain exactly what my goal is.

The goal here is for the system administrator to be able to remotely check the status of any application that is available in Software Center for any client. I can't find much more information when searching Google, so now I turn to you.

Do you have any ideas, or more importantly: Am I making any sense?

Windows Server 2019, CM2019, Windows 10 clients.

Edit: And obviously, I am not interested at all in any CM features, we are aware that this can be done by reviewing the CM.

File manager application software


Windows default file manager application has some limitations. I'm looking for a free file manager application which will have the features of the default file explorer as well as the following -

1. Total size (currently it is available by right clicking the folder) will be shown for the folders as well. Currently only file size is shown.
2. It will be able to detect duplicate files (all types images, video, audio, docs, etc). Will show the location of each files.
3. Duplicate folder detection and deletion option. Duplicate file deletion option.
4. Similar folder (contains similar files/contents; common files/contents between the folders) detection and folder marge option.

media center software

i am in the process of upgrading my media center.

currently it is a

amd opteron 1210 dual core
2 gb of memory
asus m2n sli motherboard
fanless gigabyte x1300 video card
i have it in a silverstone case with an imon front panel


im going to be upgrading to

amd 640 quad amd processor
foxconn cinema deluxe motherboard
8gb of memory
video = onboard 4200


during this switch i want to change media software

I am currently using xbmc

which i use ember media manager to scrape all of the media.

the issue is, my movie / tv collection has gotten to large. (after i ripped all of the dvds in my house)

what i need is a media manager that can manage diffrent "collections"

right now i have a million kids movies added into my collection... and it makes going through them a real pain.

tv shows are also fun.


what i end up doing is reverting back to median hd, wich allows me to browse by file location.

also all of my movies are not local to the media center. they are on network shares.


any suggestions?
