Windows 10: How can I manage user folders that are left when windows accounts are deleted and...

I created a new windows user and deleted my other users but 2 user file folders are still there and have data. When I try to delete the folders I get a message that says that I need permission from some unknow user that starts with S-1-5-21-12.... When I go into the security tab of the properties I see 5 user names and 2 unknow ones with all full control on the folder.

GAH! accidently deleted a user account

its gone. not there at all.

i was deleting another old account that was no longer being used and somehow both got deleted.

i did it from the users and groups management panel in computer management.

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Deleting User Accounts

If you can access the admin account through safe mode then all you have to do to remove the other account passwords is go into User Accounts in the control panel and either delete the accounts or, I'm not sure, remove the account passwords.
