Windows 10: How can i merge disk 3 with disk 1. Disk 1 isnt running OS.

Ive tried screen shoting and attaching it to this but it wouldnt work so bear with me. Anyways so my main OS is on my second disk C: with a recovery partition 529MB a EFI System partition 99MB and the main disk for boot and everything else at 465GB. My first disk D; has 931GB of space and i want to attach my third disk which is unallocated at 599GM. My first question is can i expand the space on the boot drive by using the 99mb on the EFI drive and how do i do that. My second question how can i attach the unallocated disk to my local disk D;. Lastly when I tried to attach it or me

switch disk numbers: I want Disk 0 to be Disk 1 and Disk 1 to be Disk 0

Hi, My computer contained a normal HDD hard drive. I recently upgraded to a SSD. The original HDD is Disk 0 and the new SSD is Disk 1. The windows OS is on Disk 1. I want to dual boot my system with Windows and Ubuntu with both OS being on the SSD. Since
the SSD is Disk 1 the Ubuntu install goes directly to Disk 0 because Disk 0 is first on the list. How can I switch the two Disks so my SSD drive is Disk 0? Thanks.

In File explorer can you find the 1 TB disk? Expand This PC.

If so what is the drive letter?

If you find it right click on it and then click on Properties. There you will see how much is free.

Disk management 1. You can not merge the disks as they are two separate pieces of hardware.

Disk Management 2. Partition the 1 TB disk into a number of drives. This can be done with Disk Management or with a third party program like EaseUS Partition Manager. There is a free version. I prefer EaseUS Partition Manager because some of this can
be done graphically. Read the instructions.

I would partition into at least 4 separate drives. Make these Logical drives. Give them a letter, E, F, G, H.

Disk management 3. Name the partitions by what they are going to be used for. Like Data, Games. Music, etc. Later on you may want to make more partitions

Disk management 4. Download and install your games in the drive that you named Games. Also copy the Games already installed to the Game Drive and then delete them from the System disk.
