Windows 10: How can I permanently reset the default save location for a specific application?

Hello there,I am having an issue wherein saving a file from an application MightyText will always point to a specific location on the network. The problem is that this file location no longer exists, and even if I do not actually save the file to the default location, simply having the Save dialog open in that location will create the unwanted filepath.If I save the file elsewhere, the default save location will be reset to the last used location, but upon a restart, it will always default back to the unwanted location.How can I permanently reset the location MightyText attempts to save to?

From your recent description, it seems like the issue is confined to Word documents. If true, then follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• Launch Word application.
• Go to File Menu and select Options.
• In the pop-up dialog box, towards the left pane, select Save.
• Under Default location file, browse the location you want to save.
• Check if the issue persists.

applications do not remember previous save locations
