    How can I prevent cursor lock on windowed game if I'm multitasking on Windows 10?


    I'm playing a game in window mode on Windows 10, and I use an Xbox controller to play it, so i have no use for the mouse button within the game. I want to use the mouse button to click on other things outside of the game, but the cursor is locked to the game, and I have to click the Start button every time i want to unlock the cursor from the game, and it's very inconvenient. Is there a way around this?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
