Windows 10: How can I purchase a Windows 10 Pro upgrade without using the Microsoft Store?

I live in Canada, but my credit card and other payment options are issued and based in the US. I am trying to upgrade my Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro.When I try to purchase a Windows upgrade through the Microsoft Store, it fails and tells me to change my store region to match my payment region. I assume this happens because my credit card is from a US bank but my computer region is set to Canada.If I change my PC region to the US, I then can't enter my credit card info correctly, because I have a Canadian address, and payment validation will fail because my bank recognizes my Canadian add

Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase

Hello guys, My laptop came pre-installed with Win10 Home 64bit and I recently purchased a Win 10/11 Pro licence from the Microsoft Store app. Unfortunately, having some issues activating the digital licence for Win10 Pro. Here is the situation:

• Logged into Microsoft account used for the purchase (also received the email receipt of the purchase)
• Already connected to stable internet

What I tried so far: Entering the Win10 Pro generic key: Received error 0x800700005:

Clicking Close returned another error 0xC004F034:

Clicking Troubleshoot re-activated my Win10 Home so still not on Pro. Thanks for any help. [FIXED] Win 10 Pro suddenly became Win 10 Ent from MS Store app: Jump to solution - Cannot activate Win10 Pro after Microsoft Store app purchase Sources:

Purchased Windows 10 pro upgrade stuck on working on it

What i did, is that after awhile, it seems to be stuck, i restarted the laptop.

Which is good news actually, because Windows 8.1 is loads cheaper than previous versions (retail licensing at Windows 7 OEM prices). And it sort of puts a huge hole in the Windows subscription theory.
