  1. How can I recover a usb partition when the usb is very very corrupted

I am using a Sandisk 8 GB USB flash drive the drive is corrupted also if I plug in the USB it hangs on my computer I can do nothing - I can not use Format, File Explorer, Settings, CMD, and much more. And just for note, i do not care about the data in the USB drive so you can give me any solution even if it requires formatting the drive

    :)

    Partition a USB Flash Drive

    USB Partitioning

Do you know the technical part of it? How does the flipping of the removable happen? How can we partition a USB without using a 3rd party software? Can you suggest any programming language? and what algo should I use? thanks!

Installing windows off of a USB stick

    Step By Step from vista:
    From admin cmd prompt

    1. diskpart
    1a. list disk
    2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    3. clean
    4. create partition primary
    5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
    6. active
    7. format fs=fat32
    8. assign
    9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

How can I recover a usb partition when the usb is very very corrupted

    Partition a USB Flash Drive

This is the scary stuff that happens when you use Google:

'USB flash drives cannot be partitioned in the Windows operating if the drive is identified as removable media. The only way to partition the USB flash drive is to flip the removable bit so that it is recognized as fixed media instead which can be partitioned like any normal hard drive'

    Infoz/Appz:
Install Windows XP from USB ▷ Bootable Flash Drive

Partition USB Flash Drives - gHacks Tech News

I got that from searching for 'partition flash drive'.

I should get paid for this.
