Windows 10: How can I recover deleted onedrive folder

I am a Mac user and have never had such issues. However, my current situation requires me to use a pc at this time. I did not realize that all of my folders were on this ONEDRIVE. I was trying to do something via the microsoft help forum and deleted my OneDrive folder to free up space. All of my files were deleted. I assumed things were being store on my hard drive not some cloud/onedrive as I was not paying for that service. I had an external drive set up as well which apparently hadn't backed up since July!!! Another issue I never had with my Mac. So I started trying to figure things out. On

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well hwell:

Thank you for the suggestion. The only message I find at the bottom of the message list in the deleted items folder is "To find older messages, use Search". My search did not work.

Hi,

To retrieve the deleted emails on your Windows Live Mail, what I can suggest is for you to try and open the Deleted folder in Windows Live Mail. Click recover deleted messages at the bottom of the message list.
