Recover 'Unsaved' Document Folder

How can I navigate to my Recover Unsaved Documents folder in Word 2007. I closed my document last night before saving as I see that there is a folder that I save too every 10 minutes but can't navigate to it. THERE clearly IS a method and is available
for Word 2010, but how can I navigate if I still have 2007. When I foolow the steps listed on Support/Microsoft - the folder it navigates to is the Start Up Folder?

HELP. I'm assuming it's a lost cause, but maybe there's a glimmer of hope somehow, somewhere?

 

Recover 'Unsaved' Document Folder

That's been my problem... it only navigates to the 'Office' portion... There is no folder, anywhere I've checked that is called Unsaved Files, or Recovered Files, etc... All that follows is that there are two folders: 12.0 and Groove.

When I navigate the 'roaming' way, (navigating users/app/microsoft/word) same results except the only folder is Start Up where the Unsaved should be? I've tried many ways to find at least a folder that MAY exist that may have that unsaved document.

We would suggest you follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

1. Open word application and click the File tab.
   
2. Click on Info > Manage Document >
   Recover Unsaved Documents.
   
3. A list of unsaved files are shown.
   
4. Look for the file try opening and saving it.
