Windows 10: How can I regain access to my Microsoft account if the confirmation email was sent to an...

I have changed my email address in my Microsoft account which seemed to have worked at first. However, when I was asked to confirm my e-mail address for security reasons, an e-mail was sent to my old address, which I can no longer access. I no longer have access to my account.

Microsoft Account Hacked, Can't Regain Access

Hi all,

About a year ago now, my PC had a virus installed on it (my own mistake stupidly) and unfortunately I had a lot of my accounts compromised, including my Microsoft account. I have since reset my PC and regained access to all my accounts, apart from my Microsoft one. I left it for so long as I had no urgent need to stay logged into my account as everything I needed to work still worked. I had tried previously to regain access but to no avail. However, I now need to log back into the account for many of my Microsoft tools to work. Below is the explanation of what is wrong:

Every time I have tried to log back into my account it first asks me to input my PC Pin which I do so and is fine, but then it asks me to confirm my email for my account. Now, at the top, it says the account I'm logging into is the one with my email which is correct, however, in the box it has the email that it wants me to confirm as a completely different one (it has asterisks blocking some of the letters). The email it has there is a .ru address and I have no idea what email this is, and I assume it must be from when I had the virus on my PC. Every time I try to reset my password or receive a code, I can't, as it asks me to input that email. Any solutions?

 

Windows Messenger Confirmation Email

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions

 

email account hacked. please help

I have a yahoo email account that seems to be hacked. Following are hacking activities I have noticed.

1) Spam emails being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.
2) Recent emails in inbox are missing
3) New emails in deleted mails folder

I have reset passwords for both my email account and recovery email account and also re-installed my mac but still spam emails are being sent from my account to my account and my recovery email account.

My mac was not even turned on when those emails were being sent. No one else knows my password. I do access mail from my iphone and ipad too.

Its my primary email account please help.
