Windows 10: How can I reinstall Windows security?

I think my PC got infected due to some bad apps installation unconsciously.I have tried the following:1. Start the Window Security from Search Bar on my Window 10, nothing shows up.2. Do sfc /scannow, restarted window, didn't work.3. dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth , restarted window, didn't work.4. Settings > Troubleshooter > Additional Troubleshooters > WindowStoreApps , didnt work.5. Downloaded the Microsoft Defender from store, it didn't allow me to login.I clicked No Thanks, it didn't log me in.Please help me : I have many applications installed, and I don't want to l

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
