Windows 10: How can I remove another adult from my family group who is an organiser when there is no...

I am the family organiser and premium subscriber for my Microsoft account. My ex-husband is still on my account as an organiser and I wish to remove him from this and the family group. Whenever I click on the 3 dots to remove him, a box pops up with 'Underneath the options menu for your family member, select "Manage consent", then select "Remove consent" for this family member's account. Then, try to remove this member from your family group again.'. There is no option to manage or remove his consent from the drop down box under the 3 dots on his profile. The only option it gives is 'remove fr

Cannot remove child account from Microsoft Family Group

We have 2 accounts setup for a child in our Family group and are not sure how this has happened. We are trying to remove the duplicate account but get a message saying:

Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Theo can remove this family member. Ask the family organiser who granted Theo consent to remove Theo from the family group.

I am the organiser and there is only one other adult on the family group, we have tried to remove the extra account using both of our logins and get the same message for both. I cannot see any other options for removing this extra account or any way to contact anyone to get this done.

Can anyone help with this?

Last member (Adult) unable to leave Family group

I'd like to leave this family(-group) to join another, but I've been seeing this same error for several days now, across at least a couple reboots.

Additional information: I've sent this account an invite from the other family, and get the invite here. If I try to accept the invite, it says I must leave my current family first. I get the link to leave, but the same error.

Any ideas?
