Windows 10: How can I remove Bing entirely on microsoft edge?

Hello, I have tried exact instructions on how to remove bing from Microsoft edge and it does not work. Bing sucks and I want it removed entirely, I never want to see Bing on my default page again.

Hi Bonnie,

Bing is design to work with Microsoft Edge and cannot be removed. Do you just want to change the default search engine used on Microsoft Edge? If yes, follow the steps below on how to change the default search engine on Microsoft Edge:

• Open Microsoft Edge.
• Click the "..." icon at the upper right hand of the window and select
  Settings.
  
• Select View advanced settings.
• Select Change search engine.
• Select a different search engine and Set as default.

This article about Edge and Google as default search provider explains step by step how to use Google as default search engine in Edge. Haven't found how to COMPLETELY remove Bing though...
