Windows 10: How can I remove 'digital flat panel' driver from laptop monitor?

Hello,I'm having an issue with the driver for my laptop monitor on Windows 10. Whenever Windows updates, it switches the driver to something like 'Digital flat panel 1024x768" and this completely messes up the display so that it's repeated 4 times within the monitor.I managed to fix this a while ago by changing the driver for the monitor to 'Generic PnP monitor', however, when windows updates it will change back to the 'digital flat panel' one and now I can't change it back! I use a laptop, and when I install my Intel graphics driver, Windows uses Digital Flat Panel (1024x768 60hz) instead of Generic PnP, which is a problem, because Generic PnP (CMO1720) is more flexible than Digital Flat Panel (ms_0003). There's a temporary
solution, which is clean installing Windows, but once I install Intel drivers, the problem returns.

Question: Have you made any changes thus far for this? I see you talk about a possible solution but lets try this.

Just go into device manager > monitors > Show hidden devices > uninstall digital flat panel. Uninstall any hidden grey device as well here. Make sure you have monitor 2 disabled for now as well.

Disconnect the monitor that has the issue

Restart PC

Plug the monitor back in to power.

 

Touch screen unresponsive after driver update

Dell SX2210T Flat panel touchscreen monitor unresponsive to touch after Automatic update of "NextWindow driver update for NextWindow 1950 UCS Compliant Touch Screen" in Windows 10.10240 and Tech preview 10.10525.

This is the wrong driver for this touchscreen but I am unable to find a means of uninstalling it.

It is not listed in the list of installed updates.

The correct driver is shown in Device manager for the screen.

Any suggestions please?
