How can I remove or hide system date and time from the notification area? Unable to do so after the latest update was installed.

Cannot remove date and time from Win10 notification area

I just bought a new Win10 computer (Dell Inspiron 3650) running Windows 10.0.14393. I cannot figure out how to remove the date and time display from the notification area. Hints posted on the Web refer to buttons that are not among the Personalization
settings of this computer. Is there another method to get the date and time off the screen?

How to remove the Notification Area on the right of the screen

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Taskbar Notification area on Search and hit
  Enter.
• Under Taskbar you may Turn off notifications as per your requirement.
• Under Notification area click on Select which icons to appear on Taskbar
  also Turn system icon on or off and you may Turn off notifications as per your requirement.
