    How can I remove the user who performed the Microsoft Entra join from the device local...


    Originally, my organisation used user accounts to join devices to Entra, which gave all users admin rights on their machines. We are now looking to revoke these privileges. I have seen lots of information about removing the Device Administrator or Global Administrator groups but nothing for the user that joined the device. How can I remove these without having to manually reach each device? Is there an Intune solution?We now deploy via autopilot and do not have this issue for recently enrolled devices.

    Some windows 11 devices shows as Entra ID registered in Intune

    Some devices onboarded to Intune with self deploying Autopilot mode, and now they shows as Entra ID registered in Intune and not Entra ID joined. Why these shows Entra ID registered and how to make them appear Entra ID joined.

    How to completely remove all traces of a Microsoft Account from a local User Account

    Hi,

    To assist you with your concern on removing traces of Microsoft Account on your local account, you may do the following steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Select User Accounts.
    • Click on User Accounts.
    • Select Manage User Accounts - here you can delete the traces of the Microsoft Account.

    Remove Devices

    Hi,



    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you are facing issues while removing the device from your Microsoft account as it keeps popping back after removing.



    It could be possible that the device was using OneDrive with the same Microsoft account and that might be the reason you are able to see the device listed under your profile. I would suggest you to remove the device from OneDrive
    and see if that helps.



    You can follow the steps to remove the device from OneDrive.



    1. Login to
      https://onedrive.live.com      .
    2. Now on the left hand pane click on PC’s.
    3. Now click on the devices that are listed under PC’s and on the right hand side click on
      Remove PC.


    If the issue persists, please get back to us with the results of the troubleshooting steps to assist you further.
