Windows 10: How can I reset my Windows PC password with Microsoft Account?

Hello Community,Recently, I got signed out of my laptop, I forgot my password and PIN, so to reset this, how can I do with my Microsoft account? Also, in my Microsoft account, I can see that I have linked my Laptop this account. By the way, the passwords are different, meaning my MS account password is not same as device password. Also, I cannot see the "Forgot your password?" link. I have connected my pc to Internet. Is there any way to fix this sign-in issue?Thank you

Thanks for the reply, but it does not help me. The website does not proceed past step 4. After entering the security code, the website does not proceed to step 5. It does not give an error message, it simply greys out the next and cancel buttons and hangs
indefinitely.

I'll try your "Get account help by email" suggestion and post the solution here when I've found one.

 

Windows 8 PC reset

I have used this software from Passcape called Reset Windows Password, to reset a Windows 8.1 administrator password on, that was even linked to a online account and it worked fine.
