Windows 10: How can I reset regedit without a desktop.

I accidentally deleted a process in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run that runs my desktop. I cannot figure out how to get it back. If anyone can tell me how to recreate that process, or reset regedit to it's original state, that would be great.

OK, here are the steps to change the icon spacing in Windows 10:

• Open Regedit - Windows + R keys, type regedit and hit enter
• Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics
• Then in the right hand pane double click IconSpacing
• Choose any value between -480 to -2730 where -480 represents the minimum spacing and -2730 represents the maximum spacing
• Then double click IconVerticalSpacing - set any value between -480 to -2730
• Close Regedit and reboot

• Right-click Start, then select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters to find the name of your device.
• Right-click the device and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow steps to update display drivers.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
