Windows 10: How can I restore all default Win 10 settings that accidently synced by OneDrive?

Ok, I'm really upset about this function of Windows 10.


Here is what happened: I recently got this new laptop from the company as my work computer. Everything is supposed to be remained vanilla, until I logged on my personal OneDrive on Office 365 for a bit of previous documents. Then everything goes crazy: extra keyboards were installed I'm a bilingual; theme was changed; wallpaper was replaced. The account profile now becomes my silly smile used on home PC.


How can I restore all these settings and delete those profiles and wallpapers?


This makes me really angry and Windows should have given users notification before doing so. Not every user wants to sync settings on every machine they use.

How do I change the default setting for .eml files?

Try rt clicking an eml file, Open With, and carefully follow through the several steps to assign your chosen program completely as default.

Also try



Set this program as default (but in your case for Mailbird). (Or the equivalent in Settings)

Note that eml files are not a default file type in Windows (i.e. not in the relevant Tutorial list here Restore Default File Type Associations in Windows 10 Windows 10 Customization Tutorials ) i.e. teh file type has to be established by a program.

Also make sure this is set correctly:
