Windows 10: How can I retrieve custom old lock screen image?

I have an image that I have set as my lock screen background on an old device which has carried over across all my windows devices due to syncing. Since I no longer have access to the laptop which had the image originally and cannot find it online, I am wondering whether I can find the image in my computer. All places I can find that talk about retrieving your lockscreen image mention where the spotlight images are located and not the one I am looking for.The image also appears on the preview of my lockscreen personalisation page.Are custom lockscreen images stored locally somewhere on my comp

Success.

Here is the solution, but it is imperative to proceed carefully.
There are also a couple of final steps that are missing and I had to think about it.

Retrieve Custom Windows 10 Lock Screen Image - Super User

This must be done as Administrator (True Administrator account) -

You must add "Administrator" to the additional fields not listed to get through the permission issues caused by NTFS.

There's quite a bit going on here, but the important item to understand is that for each "picture" folder, you need to add yourself as Administrator.
Just click on "Select a principal" and enter Administrator as the Object Name for each folder you wish to gain access to.

Retrieve Custom Windows 10 Lock Screen Image

I am trying to retrieve the current Lock Screen image of my Windows 10 Surface which is quickly dying.

The original file has been lost (only copy) and now the only one that remains is the one on the Surface lock screen.

I have tried going to the Assets folder as suggested, and even looking up the value of the LandscapeAssetPath registry key to locate the file, but the key is empty!!

Obviously it is still stored SOMEWHERE on the drive, just have no clue where to look.

I need help retrieving an image being used as my lock screen. It is a personal photo, and we are unable to locate the original file. What would be the file path to find a custom lock screen photo file?
