Windows 10: How can I retrieve my data when my Surface laptop is not switching on ?

My Surface laptop update has been corrupted therefore it requires installantion of Windows. But I need to retrieve my data as it is not backed up on cloud or any external drive. My Outlook account is syned to the laptop, and I recently purchased the extra storage as well. But the recent data is not backed up.Is there any other way to access my data and save it before I go for new installation of Windows.

This doesn't list the "Surface Laptop", but you might give it a try to see.

Otherwise, you should be able to use OPTION ONE below to boot from the USB from advanced startup.

How does GPU-Z retrieve thermal sensor data ?

Hi,

I'm developping my own CPU/GPU/RAM monitoring app and I was wondering how does the GPU-Z engine to retrieve thermal sensor data ? *Confused

I mean, I know NVIDIA provides functions to retrieve temperatures and that old ATI cards had some chips like LM63 to retrieve thermal information.

Unfortunately I'm working on my ATI Radeon 4850 and it seems to have no more LM63 or simillar chip on the card (I listed all the chips *Stick Out Tongue ).

So I'm "*Bang Head :banghead:". I searched a lot but I didn't found any information about that.

Where can I find the thermal sensor data on recent ATI Radeon cards : ATI SDK, DIRECTX SDK, BIOS, SMBUS, ACPI, something else ??
