Windows 10: How can I save a frame in photos with Windows 11?

The 'save a frame' option shows up but not so I can click on it. I tried repairing the app & that didn't help. The video I am working with was filmed with my phone & imported into Photos & is an mp4 file.

You are correct. Thank you for your immediate reply and referencing the URL that describes features and functions of Photos. Once I read the description and followed the steps, the saved photo dropped right into the same folder where the video resides. Just
as you described.

saved frames from video in Microsoft Photos have a black line

whenever i try to save frames from a video in Microsoft Photos, a black line appears on the side in the saved photo - is there a way to prevent this?

 

Microsoft Photos App - Error when saving a photo while saving frames from a video

Hi,

I'm trying to create photos from my videos using the Photos app but am encountering an error.

I open the video with the app, click Edit & Create -> Save Photos, then whenever I click on the 'Save Photo' option when viewing frame by frame, I'm given the same error: 'Something went wrong. Please try that again'.

I have tried this many times over a few weeks but it's still not working.

Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.
