  2. Taskbar Scroll Bar Removal

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Follow the below mentioned steps and check if it helps.

    • Right-click on an empty area of the Windows taskbar. Click to clear the checkmark from the "Lock the Taskbar" option if needed.
    • Then right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then select "Properties."
    • Click to place a check in the "Group Similar Taskbar Buttons" box. Click "Apply" followed by "OK" to confirm the changes. This option combines multiple instances of the same application into a single taskbar button. If this does not remove the scroll arrows,
      continue to the next step.
    • Hover your mouse cursor over the border between the Windows taskbar and the desktop until a double-arrow icon replaces the standard pointer.
    • Click the taskbar border and drag it upward to double the height of the taskbar. Any icons on the second row will be displayed, and the scroll arrows will vanish.

Keep us posted for any concerns with windows, we're glad to assist you.

  3. Scroll mouse up and down on stacked monitor setup

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you want to move the mouse up and down between a stacked dual monitor setup, you can follow the steps mentioned below and change the mouse scrolling settings.

    1. Go to Settings > System >
      Display.
    2. Now under Select and rearrange displays click and hold the
      monitor 1.
    3. Now move it above the monitor 2 and adjust accordingly.
    4. Click on Apply and close settings.

After changing the settings you will be able to scroll up and down on the stacked monitor setup.

    Hope it helps.

  4. How Can I Scroll Through/See All The Stacked Taskbar Apps?

taskbar / taskband combined app tabbed preview too thick

I'm struggling with the taskbar / task band combined app preview tabs being too thick.

Previously I was able to fit about 37-38-39 preview tabs on the stack in 4k.

Now I am unable to fit more than 29-30 and have to scroll through that list.

Does anyone know how to control this height? I am able to have many more stacked tabs on an old Windows 8.1 system with 4k even in "Scale and Layout 200%" mode to make stuff more readable.

"Use small buttons" taskbar / taskband setting really helped get the extra real estate I need on the taskband/taskbar, but I can't find anyway to shrink down the spaced between previewed stacked tabs.
