Windows 10: How can I set up/uninstall Picture It! 2.0 on Windows 10?

I tried to set up Picture It! 2.0 on my Windows10 PC. It set up but after the install I found it is missing many features. I tried to roll back compatibility settings but that didn't change anything.

So then I thought perhaps I had to setup version 1.0 in conjunction with it so I tried that. The missing features are still missing. Now Picture It 2.0 shows up as an icon on my desktop but the shortcut opens up version 1.0; Picture It 1.0 is found in the Apps and Program Files sections. I cannot find 2.0 in either of those areas.

So I figured I should uninstall them both and start over by installing version 1.0 first the way I did originally on my old machine and then Version 2.0. Both are full versions; version 2.0 is not an upgrade disc. But Windows 10 won't let me uninstall the programs. I get the error message that Picture It Setup was not completed properly, and it won't let me do anything more to uninstall. So that's a dead end.
Bottom line, I can't install either program properly and I can't uninstall them. Yikes!

My issue is that I have nearly 2 decades of work in Picture It because it is a really good program that Microsoft shouldn't have messed up as they did in later versions and it looks like I won't be able to access any of that work now unless there's a workaround to help me with this problem.

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

1.Does the issue occurs only with pictures taken from phone?

2.What is the make and model of your computer?

3.What is the file format of the picture file?

We suggest you to refer the below methods and check:

Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

1. Press Windows Key + X..

2.Click on Control Panel.

3.Select Troubleshooting.

4.On the left pane, click on View All.

5.Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2:

Method 2: Uninstall and re-install the Graphic drivers.

Step 1: I suggest you to uninstall the Graphic drivers and then install them.

Follow these steps to uninstall the touchpad drivers.

• Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager.
• Search for Human Interface Device and expand it.

Right click on the driver and select Uninstall.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
