    Windows 11 removed the ability for me to unfold my taskbar buttons since it so desperately wants to look like MacOS. How can I change this back to Windows 10 behavior?Problem situation:I have an application of which I have 3 instances; every instance has a clear indication in the application title bar stating which instance it is. In Windows 10 I could see all three of these applications on my deskbar and quickly switch to the one I needed.Now I have to hover over this application's taskbar button, wait for the preview to come up and only THEN can I switch to the program I'm looking for.. but

    Quick Access is Always Empty and Can't Pin Folders + Taskbar Programs Menu Disappeared

    Basically I can't pin anymore. I'm not getting an error when I pin. Whenever I pin it's not appearing in quick access. But it appears on the file explorer jump list on the taskbar. I already tried other solutions like emptying these locations:

    • %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\
    • %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\
    • %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations\
    but it doesn't work, it only made things worse. The jump list menu disappeared for pinned programs, like chrome ("start in incognito mode" and the like menus disappeared when i right clicked programs on taskbar).

    Now i have 2 problems, quick access won't show my pinned folders and taskbar menu disappeared.

    can't open new instances of an application from taskbar

    I have any program open. I right click the shortcut for it in the taskbar and a list of option comes out. But then when i try to open another instance of the program from that list by clicking on the option with the icon and program name, nothing happens.
    How do I make it so that it opens another instance instead of doing nothing?

    Customizing a program's taskbar icon (for all instances)

    - just tried that with Waterfox (FF derivative); customised the icon, pinned it to the taskbar, launched several instances of Waterfox. Icon remained, jump lists ok.. nothing unusual.

    (But I am using 1709..)
