    How can I shut off the auto photo rotate in windows 11?


    When I import photos from my camera, I want all the photos to stay landscape horizontal. I am not asking about screen rotation. I'm using a Windows 11 laptop and I will never rotate its screen. This is another Microsoft issue for another discussion. I take 100-150 photos per job, and I end up having to manually rotate right 15-30 pictures each time I load them to my laptop. This is not an app issue. It's a windows folder issue. I am simply viewing the photos in a windows folder. Very frustrating. Windows 7 did not do this. I understand that Microsoft is trying to make my life easier by guess

    Auto rotation

    Hello,

    Let us isolate your concern by answering the questions below:

    • What is the make and model of your device?
    • Have you checked on the action center if there is a Rotation lock option?
    In the meantime, we suggest that you check the Screen Resolution display to check if there is a setting to allow the screen to auto-rotate. Here are the steps:

    • Go to Control Panel.
    • Search for Display and then click Change display settings.
    • Mark the checkbox beside Allow the screen to auto-rotate option if possible.
    • Click Apply and then OK.

    Why does my screen not rotate?
    The auto rotation lock feature is turned on by default in Windows 10. Use the following steps to turn off this feature.

    1. Place the tablet into Pad/Tablet mode.
    2. Click the Start

    How can I shut off the auto photo rotate in windows 11?

    Win 10 - disable auto rotate for photos


    Windows 10 auto rotates photos - now when I drag and drop photos to word 10, I have no idea which way they will rotate - all portrait become landscape = as I use many tens of photos per report this is really annoying.

    With win 7, I could just drag and drop straight into a word table portrait remained portrait, landscape remained landscape.

    can I disable auto rotate? is there another work around as I like win 10
