Windows 10: How can I sign into my 5G network with a HP Pavilion 15 Notebook running windows 10?

Hello I was given an HP Pavilion 15 Notebook a few weeks ago I upgraded it from Window 8 to Windows 10 with a clean install. after I updates Win10 I tried to sign into my 5g network and couldn't find the network, just the 2g network. I searched online to solve this issue and found a solution which explains to go into my device manager, click on network adapters, Properties, advanced and click on Preferred band.. but I don't see that option. I was wondering if there's a driver I am missing? I was using a Samsung laptop from 2015 that was also gifted to me and it also had windows 10, but i

Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

Any suggestions?
