Windows 10: How can i solve my 5 minutes boot time in windows 11?

A while back i updated windows 10 to 11, all was good until i decided to upgrade my RAM from 16GB to 32. After i installed the dual channel memory's windows takes 5 minutes to load. It passes POST without problems, than gets stuck for 5 minutes with the windows logo screen and windows circle the one that indicates he's thinking after 5 minutes of "loading" it's works normally. I also tested my old win 10 install, which i had it on another HDD who i never gotten to format. It boots in under 20 seconds. Any ideas ?

Hi, I did those 5 steps and no luck.

There is not much going on at startup. I reformatted my computer 5 days ago. Even after I installed windows, I didn't download anything and just rebooted and it took 8 minutes.

Really the most clear concise description of the process along with Windows Install screen shots which now allows me to conceptualize what I would need to do for a clean install of Windows 11 on a non-TPM machine, something I wasn't sure was possible till now.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.
