Windows 10: How can I solve the 'pause update' option is grayed out the Windows 11 Home Single Language...

Hi, this is Ajaykumar Wade. I updated Windows 11 23H2 to Windows 24H2 in April 2025 and turned on 'Get the latest updates as soon as they're available' in Settings. That's why the June update is showing up. My concern is that the 'Pause updates' option is grayed out. How can I solve this issue in the Windows 11 Home Single Language edition?

I suggest you to check whether you’re using single language or multi-language in your system.

Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows + Pause Break button.
  
• 
  There you will be able to see whether your system is single language or Multilanguage.
  

If it is Multi-language then you can download the English language and install.

How to replace a language in Windows 10 Single Language ?

To change the language, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Go to settings.
• Time & Language.
• Region & Language.
• Add a language. Select required language (UK English/US English).

Make it default by clicking on it and choosing "set as default". Go to options and download language pack.
