Windows 10: How can I speed up the response of showing windows when I move my mouse over the icon in...

it's annoying sometimes.I want the hidden windows to show up in no time when my mouse mover over its icon, but often, it takes me 1 second or so to show up.Why is that? I just want to switch between windows more quickly.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to adjust the mouse speed and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

• Type mouse on the search bar and select Mouse and touchpad settings.
• Select Additional Mouse Settings.
• Select Pointer Options and adjust the mouse speed under Motion.

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Hardware and Devices.

Click and drag keeps speeding up on touchpad

Do you face this issue while moving the mouse cursor normally on the desktop screen?

If yes, I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to slow down the mouse cursor speed.

• Go to control panel.
• Click on mouse.
• under pointers options tab adjust the pointer speed, click
  apply and ok
