How can I get rid of these rubbish pictures

Click the Settings Icon and click Personalisation. Click on Lock Screen to view pictures you can have when your PC starts up, or you can select Browse to choose a picture on your PC if you don't like the choices that are on show .If you click on Background
this is your desktop picture, the picture you see when signed in, you can also Browse here for a different picture from your PC or select from the few on show. Also select Themes then Theme Settings to see more themes you can apply. When you select Background
there is a box that says: choose a fit, this lets you decide how your picture fits the screen. Have a practice with the different settings it's the best way to learn what things you can do, anything you change can easily be put back. If you open Settings>Personalisation
whilst in desktop mode you can see the effect of the changes you are making by clicking the very top of the page and keeping left click pressed down just move page a little and your desktop will be visible as well as the restored down settings page. Just
click little square top right to maximise page. If you click and keep pressed at the very top and drag the Settings page you can move it around the screen. If you get to the view below and click on Lock Screen selecting one of the available scenes will show
you what your screen will look like on start up. I hope I haven't been too simplistic but I have no way of knowing your PC skills and you did request simple English.

 

How can I get rid of these rubbish pictures

When I start up now, I am getting these totally false pictures of scenery, a fox, a sloth etc - all obviously doctored, all very annoying. Can I get rid of them and go back to those lovely peaceful blue screens we had, or the one before that with a sky
scene? If I can't, can anyone tell me how to complain to Microsoft about them? Answers in simple English please - I am not conversant with techy language.

 

I don't have them all running- is there any reason you think they should be?

If you wanted to, rt click, click start (in services.msc). But I would ask, why?

 

My HP printer is not printing.

 

If you want to set services to run or not, like dalchina said:

1) On your computer: search for, and open, services.msc
2) Right click on a Service > Properties
3) Set the Startup type to Automatic (Do not do this for all the services you don't know about; only do it for whatever app you want it for, assuming that it has been set to Manual or Disabled)

Your HP Printer is probably not printing because of a different issue, not the Services. But I may be incorrect. Check to see if there's an HP service that has been set to Disabled. Re-enable that service and start the service.

 

The list tells us nothing it's what the setting are many are set to start only when needed so not to slow the system
