Windows 10: How can I stop 2 laptops that are on same MS account Windows 11 from syncing desktop and...

How can I stop 2 laptops one for work, one for entertainment that are on same MS account Windows 11 from syncing desktop and other files/actions? It is very distracting and annoying and there has to be a way to stop this automatic syncing of files and actions. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks, J

Mail app stopped syncing in windows 10

The 2 accounts that I have in MSM stopped syncing and/or updating 2 weeks ago. I have read the suggestions to delete and re set up but that is not working. When I select Manage accounts I can see the two accounts listed on the right but clicking on them
accomplishes nothing and I am unable to delete or edit.

• Been using the app for over a year. Syncing two accounts. Four days ago one account stopped syncing. NO error messages. If go into settings, accounts cannot access the account settings. This is a slow circle Insider Preview system. On this showing my work
  (20,000+ desktops) will not be recommended to migrate just yet.

I learned in the very beginning of Win10, to turn off theme syncing,
as my VM's, laptop and main desktop would have different themes depending on when the system was last booted,
and the last time they sync'd.,
The syncing was causing corruptions in current theme used.
