Windows 10: how can i stop my controller from being read as a pc?

when playing games on my pc even through the xbox app my pc things that my xbox controller is a mouse. this happens with all of my controllers wired or not. i have tried restarting my pc multiple times but doesn't work. even if i unplug the mouse it still continues to think it and my controller should do the same thing. the left joystick moves like the mouse so for instance in ark survival evolved, when i should be able to walk forward/backwords, it instead looks around and i cant move. this isnt just happening on my xbox games though, it does the same on steam aswell and i cant play any of my

Network PC Win10 1903 issue Error Code 0x80070035

i followed these steps, but no matter what, i couldnt stop network list services.

"windows could not stop the network list service on local computer. error 1061: the service cannot accept control messages at this time".

also, which pc am i meant to be running this fix on? both PC's reported error 1061.

 

PC hast stopped recognizing controllers

I understand that you are having problems regarding the Xbox controller in your Windows not working properly and I am very sorry for this discomfort. I will try to help you in the best possible way.

I suggest the following steps:

Press Windows + X keys and choose Device Manager.

Click once on USB Controllers;

click Action and after Add Legacy Hardware;

Click next;

Click Install hardware that I manually select from a list (advanced);

Select USB Controllers;

select a controller from the left list;

select the option available from the right list;

Go ahead and wait for completion.

Restart your computer and check if the behavior persists.

If the above steps don't work, visit the device manufacturer's website and look for the specific USB driver or chipset driver for your device.

Xbox App

Search for the Microsoft app "Xbox Accessories" in the Microsoft Store and install it.

Open the App.

Connect the Xbox X Wireless Controller using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

When the controller is connected, you will see the message "Update required" if there is an update required. Install the update.
