Windows 10: How can I stop my cursor's position from being set to the bottom right corner of my screen...

The position of my cursor is being set to the bottom right corner of the screen whenever an arrow key is pressed. It occurs regardless of the application window that has focus. This includes both the dedicated arrow keys and those on the number pad when num-lock is off, and it appears to be exclusively arrow keys. I have confirmed that the Ease of Access setting Control the mouse with the keyboard is and has been off, but the problem still occurs whether it is on or off.It is very noticeable and annoying when I try to edit text documents, since the show desktop is right where the cursor is set

Explorer and Recycle Bin windows don't remember position

Thanks, but alas ,your suggestion is not working, after opening, draging to desired position, closing and reopening ,the explorer and recycle bin windows still slide to different positions ,the explorer window for example after each close\reopen slide towards
the right buttom corner of the screen ,after reaching right buttom corner and no where else to go ,it now opens up on the right upper corner of the screen ,after that it opens on the left upper corner ! Looks like a yo-yo dancing all over the screen

 

Cursor moves to top-right corner and closes apps!

Hi,

I have a truly annoying problem that I need help with!

it makes my computer totally unusable!!

Problem:

The mouse cursor moves to the top right corner and "clicks" and tries to close my apps!

Here is what I have tried:

• Reinstall Windows
• Disable trackpad
• Disable mouse (via receiver)
• Remove drivers and reboot and reinstall
• I have seen and tried the thread below

What I have:

• Porsche Book One
• Win 10 Pro
• Version: 1709
• OS Build: 16299.192

cursor moving itself to top right/ bottom right of screen

This problem has been driving me nuts! Several times a day my cursor will jump to the upper right corner and click itself, forcing me to exit the internet (or whatever I'm working on) -- maddening! An engineer friend suggested I reduce the size of my
active screen slightly and see if it continued to go to the corner -- it did, where it does no harm! Awesome fix!!
