Windows 10: How can I stop windows from shutting down after the battery critically low notification?

My laptop has wierd battery problem, it thinks it's out of juice when there's still a decent 40% left in there. It shows the battery critically low notification and then goes to sleep. When I turn it back on without charging it, it'll go another 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours comfortably. Solutions on other forums have been to charge it fully and let it drain to calibrate the battery. But if it goes to sleep at 7% it uses the data collected before 7% and bases the supposed battery life on that data. What I'm looking for is a way to turn off the threshold at which it goes to sleep. Since even setting it to 0% changes nothing. Help please?

Windows 10 not showing LOW Battery notification

Windows 10 LOW battery notification was shown at the beginning but after using it many a times, the CRITICAL/LOW battery notification is not flashing on screen and instead the PC is directly shutting down or getting hibernate.


Need immediate assistance....

I also have a problem with my Acer Aspire E-1-1-6680 laptop in terms of low battery notification after I upgraded it to Windows 10. There is no such thing like pop ups or any alert in my screen whenever my battery gets low. It just crashes down/shut off
automatically. I've read some of your steps given but unfortunately I haven't seen any term like Low battery level, Reserve or critical Battery Level or any option to choose from in the Notification Settings and Power Settings.

I have tried all suggestions regarding this issue of " no notification for low battery." Some if the suggestions are not even available. I am running windows 10, and I used to get notifications at 12% now all of a sudden my Hp 15 notebook just shuts down.
Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thanks to all.
