Windows 10: How can I stop Windows+Shift+S from saving screenshots?

I do screenshots in Windows 11 via Windows+Shift+S dozens of times per day for documentation and sharing issues with developers on our team. I NEVER want these saved to disk, just want them in the clipboard so I can paste them where I need to put them, usually in an email, into OneNote, or into Teams chat. If I want to save, because that's so rare, I'd be fine pasting to a graphics program and saving from there.I can't find any way to stop Windows from auto-saving every single screenshot wasting space or taking up my time to go and delete them.Note, that if I manually launch "Snipping Tool,"

How to be given option to save screenshot

The screenshot (using Win + Shift + S) is saved automatically to the following folder:

For each screen snip, two image files would be saved. One is the thumbnail/miniature version (whose dimensions are always 364x180) and the other is the original screenshot.

Update:

The future versions of the Windows 11 Snipping Tool will have a built-in option ("Automatically save screenshots") to save snips to the "Pictures\Screenshots" folder automatically. The feature was introduced in Windows 11 22H2 insider build 25211.

 

Screenshots save to Clipboard twice for every screenshot when using Windows + Shift + S

Screenshots not being saved with winkey+shift+s

The "screenshots" folder is missing from the pictures folder, screenshots do not appear in quick access and the registry is missing. Software/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer - Screenshot index is missing and
{B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F} is missing from usershell folder. I want to end up with automatically saving screenshots to desktop with the winkey+shift+s shotcut.
