Windows 10: How can i transfer everything from my OneDrive school to a new external 2TB exthermal drive

I’m leaving my school and I want to copy everything from the one drive inc everything from all the Microsoft apps Notes, Word, Teams ect and retaining any emails or messages sent how can I do this?

How do I transfer the programs from the 2tb M.2 drive to a new computer or external drive so that they will work again?

I have a 2tb m.2 drive that has programs on it that was the c:\ drive on a laptop that bit the bullet. I never backed up these programs. Since, the old laptop doesn't work, I can't uninstall the programs on that computer. So, I need to move the programs from the M.2 drive to a new computer. How do I transfer the programs from the 2tb M.2 drive to a new computer or external drive so that they will work again on a new computer?

 

Transfering to an External...

so you use a 2TB as an external, probably real pain if you're transferring larges amounts of data

you can take the drive out of the USB enclosure and buy a firewire enclosure for it. or better just remove it altogether and make it as an internal like mussels said. the downside is you would lose portability.

 

Transferring photos to an external drive such as Passport

Connect that external drive

Open File Explorer, on the left, choose your Pictures Library

On the right hand side, select the folders of photos you want to transfer, right click those and choose Send To - your external drive should be bottom of that Send To list

Then, you would need to delete those photos from your PC to stop those being synced to OneDrive . . .
