Windows 10: How can I transfer my files from my administrator profile and I can’t access the profile...

On my computer I forgot the password to my administrator profile and I want to transfer my files from that profile to my other profile.

Suggest e.g.
a. create new empty profile with parameters as needed
b. copy profile to it
c. log in and test new profile making sure you have access to all programs, desktop, files....
d. delete original profile

Recommend: back up before making changes.
We strongly recommend disk imaging: Macrium Reflect (free) + its boot medium + external storage.

From what I've read and see, you can't copy the profile you're currently using.

As per the issue description, seems like your current administrator profile is corrupted. We suggest that you

create a new administrator profile. Once done, you can transfer your files from the current administrator profile to the new one. Kindly follow the steps below using your new administrator profile:

• Type This PC on the search filed in the Task Bar.
• Select This PC under Desktop app on the results.
• Under This PC, choose Local Disk (C.
• Click on the Users folder at the right panel of the window. You will be able to see the files from all the users on your PC.
• You can delete the previous administrator account.
