How can I uninstall, KODAK Capture Pro Software 4.3.0, from a Windows 10 computer?

I have used the regular Windows 10 uninstaller, I have gone online to Microsoft and found "Microsoft Uninstall Tool" and it didn't work and I have tried using "Malicious Software Removal Tool - 64bit" and it didn't work. I have exhausted everything I know. Can anybody help me?

    :)

Windows 10 Pro., Updates will not download because; "Avira AntiVir", can not be Uninstalled; Why? How can I Uninstall this software: Avira AntiVir

Windows 10 Pro Updates, will not completely download because; I can not Uninstall: "Avira AntiVir".

It does not show up in the Programs & Features, or the list of Programs, in Uninstall a Program. I even requested help form the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk, and they could not help. There only suggestion was to do a Clean Download of the Updates, which
would delete all my Files and Downloads, currently saved on my PC. Is there any one out there who can give me instructions as to how to Uninstall the Software Program: "Avira AntiVir" ? Thank You; JC

  3. Problem with KODAK Easyshare in a limited account

    found a work around

Win XP Pro SP2 with limited user account results in "Cannot get device information"
Using the latest Kodak EasyShare v6.4
It took me a long time but I've got it working with restricted user account.
I've found the following kb article from Kodak's site:

To switch from the Kodak driver to the Windows driver, do the following:

Connect the camera to the computer.
    Turn on the camera.
If you are using a Kodak camera or printer dock, do the following:
Place the camera on the dock.
    Press the Transfer button.
Click Cancel in any windows that appear.
    Open the Device Manager:
Right-click My Computer and select Properties.
In the System Properties window, select the Hardware tab.
    Click Device Manager.
Click the plus sign (+) in front of imaging devices (or under Kodak camera if you are using a version of Kodak EasyShare software earlier than 3.0). The camera appears.
Right-click the camera and select Update Driver.
When Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software? appears, select No, not this time.
    Click Next.
Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next.
Select Digital Still Camera, and then click Next.
When the program selection window appears, select Kodak EasyShare software.
Select Always use this program for this action, and then click OK to transfer your pictures.
NOTE: This procedure prevents future uploading of files or information to the camera, including firmware, address book updates, and new albums features.

Hope this help someone. I didn't find any solution from any site.

How can I uninstall, KODAK Capture Pro Software 4.3.0, from a Windows 10 computer?

    Kodak AiO 5500 Printer

    Same problem.

    Here is what happened:

I had Kodak software v7.8 for my AiO 5500 on my Windows 8.1 system. Worked great for years. I always ignored Kodak's periodic popup to upgrade (if it ain't broke, don't fix it). Recently, I auto upgraded to Windows 10. I then made the mistake of letting
Kodak install and update its drivers and that is when my printer stopped working

Here is how I fixed it:

    • Unplug your printer from you computer
    • Go to Consumer Support | Kodak and download v7.8 release date 2014-07-29 (this is the version I had on my Windows 8.1 system before I auto upgraded to Windows 10.)
    • Run it and select the "Uninstall", follow all prompts and completely uninstall the current set of Kodak software/drivers.
    • Run it again, select your computer and "Install"
    • When it is done it will ask you to plug your printer into your computer

If you get driver update notices/popups from Kodak, do not install them until you know for sure that they will work with Windows 10.
