Windows 10: How can I update Windows 10 to version 22H2?

I just installed Windows 10 on my old rig that had Windows 7 on it previously. I did a reinstall since I used installation media. I activated my copy of windows over the phone and updates started rolling in. I am stuck on a "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 18" Last failed install attempt on ‎9/‎26/‎2023 - 0x80242016I have attempted to install over half a dozen times and it's not working.I have tried running the system file checker, running the troubleshooter, and using the update assistant, all to no avail.Any help would be appreciated.

If you can't install it from windows update you can try to install it manually, it's the same KB5015684 obtained with windows update.

Do dism and sfc /scannow commands before and/or after installing it.

 

Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

Can you advise please. TIA

I wish things are that simple. My error code was 0x80246017, and I don't have KB5020435 installed so it's a dead end. BTW, MS lists like 6 or 7 error codes of the format 0x8024xxxx on the "troubleshooting WU problems", and when you chose next step, it suggests generic steps: run WU troubleshooter, check if your disk has no errors, is your remote disk is accessible, etc. Same as MS community; each similar error has completely different cause and (re)solution.
MS in notorious for this- if it works then OK, if it doesn't then good luck.
