How can I upgrade my WMMD 1.1

I am unable to open anything on my Surface Book 1 after a factory reset

Thank you guys for the replies, I tried both posted options and still had no luck as the problem still persists.

I also tried the following from another forum on the site and still had no luck,

Step 1: I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting step and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    1. Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
    2. Click File > Run New Task.
    3. Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”.
    4. Type CMD.
    5. Type the following 4 commands at the CMD prompt:
    • sfc /scannow
    • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    • powershell
    • Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
    6. Close the CMD window.

Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates after upgrade to Windows 10.

    1. Connect to the internet.
    2. Press Windows key and type updates.
    3. Click on Check for updates.
    4. Under Windows Updates, click onCheck for updates.
    5. Try to install the updates being the drivers being found and check if it helps.
