Windows 10: How can I upgrade to Windows 11 if my boot drive is MBR instead of GBT?

I have a high performance gaming pc and with Windows 10 support ending later this year I wanted to get ahead of it and just upgrade to Windows 11. For my other drives that aren't GBT I have other methods to secure my data but how would I convert my boot drive without losing my OS? Western Digital Blue 2280 SATA SSD

cloning an MBR OS drive to GBT ?

I am trying to install a NVMe ssd drive on a PCIe adapter and boot from it. It does not seem to be working. It starts booting into winds then freezes. so it sees the drive and i get a windows logo. I cloned my current ssd (MBR) to the NVMe using (GBT) is this my problem ? in Computer management the new NVMe does not list itself as "System" or "Boot" does it only say this once it is the crrent booted active drive ?

Resolving converting MBR to GBT converting boot issue

The question is: - If it has no Active partition, how is it booting a MBR drive? - If it has no EFI partition, how is it booting a GPT drive? The only explanation is that JerometheGiraff has used one of those applications to convert a MBR drive into a GPT drive and now has an un boot able drive. Open Disk Manager -Under View select Top - Disk List
