Windows 10: How can I use the Touchpad and Keyboard at the same time?

Hello y'allI bought an Asus ROG Strix G17 2022 and noticed that when I play, the Touchpad gets disabled when I use ASWD. I saw a lot of Forums and watched Videos but nothing helped because I somehow don't have a Synaptics Option anywhere, even after a complete Clean Flash of Windows 11. I searched in Regedit, updated in Device Manager the Asus Percise Touchpad Driver as well as the Touchpad recognized as HID complaint Mouse like everywhere. Basically updated everythingI hope someone can help me.Thanks in advance.***** moved from german to english Community *****

Can't use my keyboard and touchpad at the same time.

This whole thing is outdated synaptics isnt there anymore i think and this isnt in the mouse pad options can you plz help by using pictures step by step or by explaining in detail because none of this is on my windows 10 HP laptop

There's a possibility that the touchpad driver is not updated. To properly isolate your concern, please clarify the following information:

• When was the last time that you were able to use your keyboard and your touchpad at the same time in a game?
• Did the issue start after an update?
• Have you tried to update the touchpad driver?
• Have you tried running the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter?
  

To run the troubleshooter to scan your computer, identify the problems, and attempt to fix the issues automatically, you may refer to the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R and type Control Panel.
2. Type troubleshooting in the search bar and click on Troubleshooting.
3. Click on Hardware and Devices.
4. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

I would recommend you to reset the drivers for your keyboard. To reset the drivers, please follow the following steps:

1. Right click on the start button and open Device Manager.
   
2. Under Keyboards, you will find Standard PS/2 Keyboard.
   
3. Right click on it and click on uninstall.
   

Then restart your computer which will reset the drivers.



Note: If you find multiple options under keyboards, uninstall the drivers for all the options listed (only under keyboards category) and restart your computer. Also you can follow the same steps to fix the issue with your touchpad
(if it still persist). Touchpad drivers will be posted under Mice and other pointing devices.
