    I have a SSD that supposedly supports read/write speeds of more than 400 Mb/s, so how can it be bottlenecked at 3MB writing speed?

    What I did is connect my android device. I have noticed for quite some time now that file transfer via usb from my android device to my computer and the other way around is very poor, now I am wondering... Why is that? We live in 2017, so what's happening there? Why does transfering files from my android to my PC bottleneck my SSD? Those things should have nothing in common!

    Please someone enlighten me on this.

  2. In task manager disk utility is 98-100% always

    In task manager disk utility is always between 98-100% due to this, applications not working properly and i will get to update my windows also

    can any one help me what to do?

    if i connect to internet it will be between 99-100% some times it will be stuck at 100

    if i will not connect to internet it will be normal values

    how can i reduce disk utility ?

    Hi, try to separate the issues.

    Disconnect any Android device.
    Check your PC looks idle - in particular search indexing is not running.
    There's something wrong in that Windows search should not be running like that. It should back off in the face of other activity.

    1. Check your SSD transfer rates using Crystal DiskMark (free) (with no Android device connected).
    2. Check your USB transfer rate - to some other device

    If (1) and (2) report appropriate rates, and search indexing is not running, then the problem does indeed seem to be triggered by connecting your device.

    As an experiment, connect a USB disk, and viewing the task manager, try copying files to and from the USB disk.
    In particular, note if search indexing is shown as using significant resources, and disk activity.
